Platforms
Our carrier-grade CompactPCI
platform features include the ability to hot swap boards, route additional high
speed sub-buses over the backplane and connect large amounts of I/O from a
plug-in board through the backplane and out of the rear of a chassis. The
CPX8216 family of high availability systems is designed for critical
infrastructure applications requiring 5NINES availability. These systems
incorporate built-in redundancy of all major subsystems and are well suited
for building media gateways, call servers, Voice over IP (VoIP) gateways
and Internet edge switches.

Boards
CompactPCI processor boards,
resource boards and chassis conform to the IEEE 1101.10 Eurocard packaging
standard and the PICMG specifications. We offer processor boards designed
with both PowerPC and Intel microprocessors, together with resource boards
based on digital signal processors (DSPs) and high-performance network
processing devices. Our CompactPCI product line includes carrier-class
systems and boards designed for deployment in critical telecom applications
and fault-resilient systems ideal for enterprise use.
